+As it has been exactly two years now since the passing of Gigi Campi, Orsii and Jazzman Gerald figured it was time to pay the man a decent tribute. They put together a mix of some of the best and rarest Clarke-Boland tunes and asked me to write some words to put things in context. Needless to say I didn’t have to think twice as I’ve been hooked on Kenny Clarke-Francy Boland records ever since first hearing Fats Sadi’s ‘Ensadinado’ many years ago.
